Eileen Gray is undoubtedly a name already familiar to fans of modernist design. The Bibendum Chair is her most famous work but just as representative of her progressive work is the Non-Conformist Chair. Designed back in 1926, its asymmetrical shape was at the cutting edge of experimental design, defying the conventions of furniture design, hence its name. Whilst it won’t exactly shock people today, it is still an eye-catching design.

Our inspired version of the Non-conformist Chair by Eileen Gray has only one armrest as per original - It is designed to accommodate the owner's favorite resting position. The inspired Non-Conformist Chair has thick padding covered with durable Italian leather, this covers the stainless steel tube that forms the back of the chair, providing supple support and comfort. The seat is equally well padded with top quality foam. The bent stainless legs form the base, offering tremendous stability in a sophisticated style.
